2020 JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS

New Brunswick’s Premier Junior Friendly Facility

Kingswood Junior Programs create an environment where the junior golfer has a chance to learn the great game of golf.  We teach the fundamentals of the game in a stress-free, FUN atmosphere.  The programs expose students to the shots required to play the game and place a strong emphasis on etiquette and safety.  We strive to have our juniors develop a love for the game that instills honesty, integrity, and lifelong friendships. Led by PGA of Canada Teaching Professional, Bari Gourley, whose passion for junior golf is evident by her being recognized as an industry leader. All protocols will be in place, in regards to Covid-19 to ensure the safest possible environment.

 “Learn to Play” Summer Program  

The 8-week Summer Program covers all of the fundamentals of the game of golf and is beneficial for all junior golfers.  Each week will consist of (2) 90-minute group sessions and (1) on-course fun event day on Kingswood’s 9-hole Executive Course.   Each participant will be assigned a class and come at that time slot for all 8 weeks.

Cost:  Non-Members $275.00          Members: Included in cost of membership                       

Dates:   June 17 – August 13

Class A Tuesday & Wednesday     8:30am – 10:00am

Class B Tuesday & Wednesday     10:00am - 11:30am

Class C Tuesday & Wednesday     11:30am – 1pm

            Thursdays:         All participants  7:30am Start (Executive Course)                                      

“Little Swingers” Program

Four-week program designed for children ages 4-8. This program is designed to introduce participants to the fundamental movements of the golf swing and how they link together into play. Instruction will cover fundamentals, putting, chipping, and full swing utilizing SNAG golf equipment.

Cost: $85.00

MONDAYS:             June 8, 15, 22, 29       Class A: 5:15pm-6:15pm

Class B: 6:30pm-7:30pm

Learn to Compete Program

The Learn to Compete program is designed for junior golfers who have an interest in exploring the next step in competitive golf. The program prepares kids with the necessary tools and strategies to help them while moving to a competitive environment.  A strong emphasis is put on making the kids feel comfortable and confident in playing the golf course and competing. The program is designed for kids aged 7-16 years old that have taken previous instruction and considering tournament play.

Cost: $200.00

TUESDAYS: 2:00pm-3:30pm: July 7, 14, 21, 28 & August 11

School’s Out Program  

The School’s Out program is designed as an opportunity for junior golfers who are new to the game to try a week-long camp before committing to a summer program.  The fundamentals and etiquette are some of the highlights of the program.

Cost: $150.00             June 8 to June 12: 3:00pm-4:00pm

Girls Club Program

Girls Club is a developmental golf program essentially designed for girls 7-18 years of age. As members, young girls will develop the skills, attitudes and positive images of themselves as athletes on the golf course, encouraging both self-esteem and a life-long love of the games. It aims not only to attract girls to the game but also to help make them golfers for life!

          Cost: $100.00             THURSDAYS 3:00-4:00 pm            June 18, June 25, July 9, July 16

* Program must meet a minimum number of students to be conducted
